Interview about my new web series, which will be launching on June 1st over at Blip.tv.

My best friend got married in New Orleans a week and a half ago, and Matt and I had a great trip to both NOLA and Dallas. Nice to get out of town for a little while for sure!
Excited to have both of these ladies as my bridesmaids next year!

New web series trailer for a project I’m doing with the other two winners of last year’s Emma.com Academy Awards contest. Love these ladies!

This trend of posting nothing at all and then lots at once is probably going to continue.
I am currently obsessed with the Nike Fuel band that I bought myself as a post-Christmas present.
I will say that I don’t know that this would work for everyone… but I am about 1,000% more likely to do something if I have some kind of technological toy to remind me to do it. So, for me, having this band on my arm is a great motivational tool.
Last year when I was working so much, sometimes I would spend a day and forget to go outside (what happens when you work from home) which as you might imagine is horrid for one’s mental state. This has been making me get out for walks, runs, more games of tennis.
If you’re in a rut with your day-to-day routine, and are forgetting to get up and spend some time being active, I highly recommend this. (If you’re more into the exact stats, such as heart rate, etc. I would go for the sports watch version which has a heart monitor as well.)

Another nice Valentine’s Present was that the lovely people over at Staree featured me on their blog on the 14th, with very kind words!

Happy belated Valentine’s Day.
Matt and I celebrated by setting our wedding date (4.11.14) and putting down a deposit on our venue. It seemed like the perfect day to take that step.
We also went to dinner at this great little “upscale” burger bar. For V-day, they were serving a Chocolate Burger. I know that sounds disgusting, and we thought so too… but we also thought, well, we’re going with a theme here we might as well try it out. I have to tell you. It was pretty delicious. The chocolate was more like a glaze, with a good dose of salt to balance out the sweetness. Underneath the burger were sliced strawberries, and it was topped with a parmesan crisp. Pretty impressive.

Just heard that Do No Harm was cancelled. Sorry for the actors/crew/writers… that’s the worst after only two episodes.
But… can we blame the people in marketing for one of the strangest print campaigns I’ve seen for a show in a long time? The above image has been on every bus in LA, and I laugh every time I see it. Thus, I thought the show was a comedy, possibly a cross between Scrubs and a mime troupe.

I’m pretty upset at television for making me think that brussels sprouts would be disgusting for my entire childhood.
They are, in fact, super delicious.

When I checked in the other day, I realized that I missed Tumblr. (Who knew?) So, maybe I’ll be hanging out here a little?
Anyway, boatloads have gone on in the past almost-year since I’ve been updating regularly. The most notable of which is pictured above. (That’s Matt, my boyfriend of six years, proposing to me in the classroom we first met in in NYC while we were home for the holidays this year.) So… I guess we’re planning a wedding, y’all. Its been a really fun time so far, looking forward to the rest!

Bwhaha.
In other news, I’m pretty obsessed with The Vampire Diaries. Going to go out on a limb and say that Nina Dobrev is leaps and bounds the best actress to ever grace the CW. Seriously, she kind of floors me.
